I Thought I knew Miles ......I didn't Until Now.... I had an Electric Miles Experience. As I moved through Cleveland's "Kennedy's Cabaret", located inside of the Historic Playhouse Theatre, I knew something magical was about to be revealed. This quaint venue with exposed bricks and black and white pics of early Cleveland, made me feel as if I was in A JAZZ Maze, I knew I was getting my Jazz Fix.. Center table I sat, waiting, the lights dim and I was in a Jazz Blitz.. As I watched Trumpeter Sean Jones, Clifford Barnes on Keys, Robert Hubbard on Drums, Tony Watson Jr on Sax & Walter Barnes on Bass..... It was definitely going to get hot in this space..... And It Did.... So much so, that when I got home... Pen 2 Pad, I wrote this poem. I'm in a Trance, a Jazz Blitz..... Brass, Bass, Keys, Hits. So Smooth to Watch You Grace the Stage.....Sheet Music... Turn The Page. I'm Hooked on Miles, His JAZZFULL Style... Want to Scream, Scat, Moan, Howl, Just For A While...... Electric Miles, Want you Just For a while...An Orgasmic Smile... My Electric Miles... ........I'm in a Jazz Blitz....... After Listening To This......
